I will share here how to broadcast your own radio station.Anyone with internet can have their own radio broadcast channel and Anyone with internet connection can hear your broadcast.You can broadcast as many stations as you want and for that you need a good broadband.Your friends group can hear your streaming and if you have more than 1000’s of friends hearing your channel better get a job at the radio station as early as possible.Before you need to stream your radio channel online few things are required for your own radio broadcast to be done.

1. Winamp player to broadcast your songs,voice or whatever!!
2. Shoutcast DSP plugin for your winamp.
3. An account in listen2myradio website.

Steps to broadcast your own radio station :

• Get the Winamp player and Shoutcast DSP plugin and install both of them.

• Go to listen2myradio website and create your account.by clicking “sign up for new account”

• Now fill in your details and click “create my account”

(Now how many of you guessed the password in the picture ?.hehe comment below if you have guess it )

• Go to your email and verify the mail from listen2myradio and then Log in to Listen2myradio .

• Click where it says “You need to install your radio !!!!!!!press here to install”

• Enter your broadcast password
• Enter your admin password
• Enter a title that must be in about 5 words minimum
• Describe your radio channel in about 20 words minimum in both the boxes.
• Choose a name for your URL (we will use this later)
• Finally Click install.

• Click again where it shows “the next step of installation”.

• Select a server to broadcast your own radio channel.I have selected uk here.
• Copy the ip address and port number which we will be using it later and now click on radio details.

• Now open your winamp and open the preferences by selecting Option => preference or by using the shortcut ctrl+p>

• Scroll to the plugin option on the left panel and select DSP plugin and click the “configure active plugin” .

• Paste the ip address and port number that we had copied earlier.Fill in your user id and password finally make sure you have selected the auto connect and “use shoutcast v1 module” check boxes and navigate to the yellow pages tab.

• Click on “make this server public” and give some name in the name field and type the url that we have noted down earlier.Now navigate to encoder tab.

• Now select the encode type as “mp3 encoder” and as soon as you do that you will see the change in the status.

Broadcast your own radio setup has been completed .

Now from your winamp play a song and You can hear it on your listen2myradio URL.Give the url to your friends and your group and enjoy streaming radio channels.
